GRAPHICS

Here you'll find some of the motion graphics I've made using Adobe After Effects. I've created a lot of different kinds of lower thirds conveying the branding of featured companies and individuals. I've also included some other works that display my creative through infographics and logos that are made in combination of Canva and Photoshop.

Camera Film Reel

LOWER THIRDS

My peers requested me to create a lower thirds for their feature (shown in 00:07) on a particular content creator in our community. I drew inspiration from an ejecting film reel and began animating small details like the camera lens retracting and the flash going off.

Small details like this make the graphic more personal and establishes a connection between the introduction of the subject and the contents of the feature itself.

The Loco Lemon

LOWER THIRDS

For a feature telling the story of Annabelle Lockwood, the CEO of The Loco Lemon, I wanted to implement a playful but just as interactive element to the lower thirds I was creating. For this one, I decided to animate the ice cubes so that they would be floating up and down around the lemonade glass.

PIZZA D'Z

LOWER THIRDS

In light of showcasing three different local Fountain Valley restaurants in an episode feature, I curated lower thirds matching the branding of each company. This particular one is for Pizza D'z and includes a moving slice of pizza within the motion graphic.

SPORTS: CHEER

LOWER THIRDS

For FVHS's sports reports, I created lower thirds for each sport using the same blue and white icon theme. The main bar would have information regarding the sports game (ex. FV vs. Edison) and the sub bar would identify what sport it was (ex. Girls' Volleyball).

Information Retention in Infographics

INFOGRAPHIC

Students were instructed to create an infographic about infographics. I chose to highlight how infographics give way to immense information retention in comparison to other mediums. The choice in a blue color scheme isdue to UBC's study that found that the color blue enhances cognitive performance when it comes to creative tasks.

Dangers of Self-Driving Cars

INFOGRAPHIC

Created for Stewart J. Guss Law Firm's Annual Student Scholarship. The instructions called for individuals to create an original infographic outlining the developments and potential dangers of self-driving automobiles.

Creation of every infographic is done using Canva.
